30 June: delicate look, flowers rain damaged, patchy, few blooms, leaves something to be desired.
15 July: one plant dead, looking weedy, not enough color, foliage draws more attention than flowers, needs more flowers, yellowing foliage, too many flowers below foliage, nice color.
30 July: filled in nicely, many flowers now, more foliage than flowers, too much foliage, no longer looks weedy, filling in again, nice contrast between yellow centers and purple flowers, lovely color, still look pretty good.
15 Aug: deadhead, was slow to get going, finally full of blooms, very unique flower shape, healthy, great flowers, good coverage.
30 Aug: less flowers now, deadhead, nice flowers, fading, still healthy, foliage texture nice and lacey, weedy looking.
15 Sept: not enough color/texture, very few flowers, foliage decent, blue blooms not much impact.
